Description: Marx 4242 New York Central Train Set - Electric Steam Type Locomotive - TESTED - Nice Post War Marx O-Scale train set from the 1950's- The locomotive is in very good original condition with some light age related wear- The locomotive is complete with no missing or broken pieces - Locomotive has been tested and runs properly- Comes with New York Central coal tender which is in very good condition with only light wear- Also comes with gondola, crane car, and caboose- All cars are in good condition and roll smoothly - Also comes with an addtional Marx locomotve motor and driving wheels which has not been tested but is included as a spare- Set comes with original box and some track but no transformer- I recommend you run this train on newer track as the included track is all curved pieces and is old with tarnish which will hinder the electrical conductivity This is a very nice vintage Louis Marx O-Scale train set from the 1950's featuring a Steam Locomotive, coal tender, and 3 additional cars. The locomotive is in good condition and good working order and the cars are all in good shape overall with minimal wear. This will be a fun set to run or display.
