Description: Mitutoyo Indicator Comparator Stand w/Fine Adjust Knob & Machined Pads on Base This is a model 7003 stand. The front plate also says this model in particular was made in Japan. There seems to be just barely 5 inches of working distance from the anvil to the top of the stem. Stand is in excellent working order. It's been checked with an indicator and the fine adjust knob works great (see video). The anvil/platten surface is smooth and generally clean. There is some light scratching and some spots/discoloration on the anvil surface. The stand itself has scratches, scuffs, and finish chipped off in various spots - though mostly around the bottom edge. The pads on the bottom that the stand sits on are machined on this model, and they're in decent shape overall. They have a somewhat significant amount of scratches and discoloration, but have been polished smooth. All the knobs function/hold well, but have scratched, dinged and nicked up knurls. On the right back side of the frame there is an ID plate riveted, and a couple threaded holes the previous user drilled into the stand for an attachment. See photos for cosmetic detail. The indicator in the video is not included, the auction is for the stand with it's attachments as pictured.
