Movie cowboy Monte Hale wanders the frontier, cleaning up the West one outlaw at a time. Monte is framed for horse rustling, a hanging offense, and must escape to clear his name. Sidekick Gabby Hayes tries to put one over on rotund pie thief Thaddeus Scrumps. Monte's friend Pappy Parsons, a steamboat captain, seeks Monte's help when the rival stagecoach line tries to put him out of business. Plus vintage "Comix Cards" (like the later Marvel Trading Cards) featuring Fawcett's Western hero Golden Arrow, and a comics-formatted ad for Carnation featuring Rocky Lane (and some great tiger art). And a vintage ad for Wheaties ("Breakfast of Champions!") featuring Hal Newhouser of the Detroit Tigers.
