Description: 714 pages in two volumes, 9.5" x 7" each. A sumptuous set published in 1922 "Die Franzolenzeit in Deutlchen Landen 1806-1815" in German text. English translation of the title "The French in Germany 1806-1815". Shelf wear on the boards, no dust jacket. I don't know if these ever had dust jackets. I don't want to say these are rare but Alibris, ABE, Amazon, Ebay do not have this set for sale. This set is not really available anywhere. Loaded with plates, color and black and white, faux parchment foldout maps, faux parchment documents related to the war, too many to include in this listing. Wear on the boards but the interior pages are excellent. No foxing. A very nice set of an uncommon publication. 6 pounds. These are heavy.
