The process creates a beautiful, durable and flexible binding that will last. True heirloom quality. The cover is crafted from a beautiful and unique Rosewood crazy horse leather. This amazing leather will develop an awesome patina over time. Another wonderful feature of this leather is it’s almost self healing ability. Scuffs and scrapes can be buffed away with a good rub of the leather. Truly amazing. The cover has five hand tooled raised hubs on the spine and a classy and protective full yap. The liner is made from a beautiful, brick red pebble grain calfskin. These leathers look and feel amazing together and will hold their shape very well. They have been hand stitched around the perimeter with a black waxed thread. Other premium upgrades include two double sided satin ribbons- one black, one burgundy. I’ve also installed new, linen textured, black end sheets to the front and back. There has been a unique brick red art gilding applied to the pages. The red under gold creates a beautiful frame for the Word. The spine is Smyth sewn and has been further reinforced by wrapping it in a fine, thin sheepskin.
