Description: You are looking at a new old stock TAG Heuer stainless steel band part. This is for half of the band and the clasp. This was obtained from the TAG service center. They had used the bottom portion of links for another project. So this is essentially a new half band and clasp. It is for the TAG Heuer Midsize SEL Series. It is about 4.35 inches long in the closed position. The band is model number BB0438 and it fits the midsize series. It has the highly desirable alternating silver matte and polished gold links. It is an 18mm and 16mm link band. The links that attach to the case are 18mm (lug) and the links that attach to the clasp are 16mm. The inside of the clasp is stamped TAG Heuer BB0438-MO. This part used to sell for over $650 new from TAG....but you can not find it anymore! You can use this part to swap out parts on your current band or to make your old band look new. On a condition scale of 1 to 10 I would rank this band as a near perfect 9.8. There are some fine scratches that can be seen on the highly polished surface of the links & clasp. It is super rare! It is made of stainless steel.
