Description: Norman Mailer, An American Dream, 1966, Scarce With This Cover, Acceptable. pkg. Reading copy. Cover is in only fair condition, but features a rather extreme photograph, which I assume is a still from the movie of same title. Front corners are clipped. Vertical crease parallel to spine. Heart-shaped hole punched near bottom corner. Edge tear on top. Back cover has large diagonal crease over bottom corner.Spine has heavy edge and corner wear. Spine is creased and has forward lean. Edge tears on front edge. Vertical creases at bottom edge. Owner's sticker inside front cover. Old price on preview page. No other writing or marking. Light stain at bottom inside page corners, disappearing after about 30 pages. Not an impediment to reading the text. Aside from that, pages are generally clean and in good condition, moderately tanned, but very readable. Binding is intact and feels firm, but must be considered fragile due to spine crease, and should be opened carefully. Ships 1st class.
