Description: This poster was hanging on the door of a home in Lucas County Ohio that was used as a base to run get out the vote canvassing operations out of. It has the sticker that was used to tape it to the door on it. I have watched and collected Obama campaign materials for years and have never seen another. The Maps were given to me by my Boss a few months later she worked for the campaign as a regional field director and later we worked on Organizing for America in Ohio. The Sticky note and all hand labeling is original it denotes organizers turf and delegates the get out the vote effort. Toledo was home to Joe the Plumber and Obama himself canvassed there. It was a historic and successful effort to deliver the battle ground state of Ohio into Obamas win column. I'm not sure there will be a ground operation like that again in American electoral politics. Make an offer if you are a history lover.
