Description: Six voice Oberheim OB-SX From early 80's. This is like an OB-X, but less controls. Six voice, 56 presets. Professionaly serviced, power supply recapped, power supply voltages checked & adjusted. Replaced dipswitch with new gray hill switch, all voice cards all calibrated without issue. Cleaned contacts on keys. Straightened 3 metal guides under 3 keys that needed attention. Cleaned molex connectors. Cleaned case and keys and blew out dust. This synth sounds great, all the controls work well. I own an electronic repair shop specializing in music gear. I have been servicing music keyboards for 30 years, with exception of Hammond organs. Have been servicing Electronics for over 40. There is an aftermarket plug and play midi retrofit for the OBSX from a company in Germany that let's you access the other real time parameters from a midi controller. Search midi retrofit OBSX .
