Description: This is an original GM aluminum intake for a Big Block Chevy engine with retangular port heads and a Holley carb. The casting number is 3885069 3886093. On this very first version of the 3886093 intake GM used on the casting mold for the 3885069 intake and removed the plenum under the carb and ad dedthe part number 3886093 under the 3885069 part number as shown. Intakes produced later just had the casting number 3886093 and are not production line correct 1967 L88 intake but are later service replacements. This early "double pad/part number' 3885069/3886093 intake was used by GM on the following applications: 1967 L88 427/430HP engines ONLY. That's right, this intake is specific to the 1967 L88 only and is a very rare find indeed. This intake has a casting date of 9/28/66. These original double part number 3885069/3886093 intakes are seldom seen for sale anywhere. Surprisingly, there is another on Ebay as I post this listing but it comes with a hefty price tag of $10K. Don't miss this one. This intake is in very good condition. It is in bare aluminum finish with no paints or coatings. It looks more like a piece of jewelry than a mechanical part. The part number, firing order, and infamous Winter's foundry snowflake logo are intact and undisturbed as shown. All threads are in good condition with no helicoils or thread inserts. The cooling ports are free of corrosion. The intake ports are very nice with no porting. This is an awesome factory high performance intake.
