Old Vintage Bonney 1 1/2 Water Pump Aviation Sporlan valve Wrench 1248

Description: In the 1930 catalog, the 1248 wrench is listed for Packard, Jordan and Hudson water pump packing nuts. In 1932, as Dodge and Packard. In the 1950's, they started listing it just as a service wrench, and also for Sporlan expansion valves. In the 1960's they started listing it for aircraft use. So, I guess depending on when it was made, it could be for any of that. The date code on this wrench looks to be MO, which doesn't fall in line with Alloy artifacts thoughts on date codes on Bonney wrenches. It also leaves me not knowing when this wrench was made, but it is most certainly an earlier style. USe it for anything you want that needs a thin headed 1 1/2" opening. Or, hang it on the wall in your Bonney display. It does have some finish loss.The last bunch of pictures show the progression through the Bonney catalogs available online.
