Description: Offered for your consideration is a pair of vintage Boston Acoustics two-way crossover network that were original equipment in my A60 Series II speakers, USA-manufactured in 1988. The A60 II’s used 8” poly cone woofers that crossed to 1” dome tweeters at 3kHz, were rated to 75 watts power handling, and a frequency range of 52Hz-20kHz. So, please see the large photos and read the remaining description to decide if these useful Boston crossovers should be yours. This pair of A60 Series II crossover networks is in clean, excellent condition. There are no cracks or notable scratches on the sturdy plastic faceplates, just a few light wall nicks from the years. They feature sizeable capacitors, heavily wired inductors, and spring-loaded +/- terminals that hold speaker cable tight. Plus, I’ve separated the wires, binding them in pairs with ties, for the new owner’s convenience upon delivery. Lastly, the faceplate measures 2⅞” in diameter, the mount holes are spaced 1¾” adjacent / 2⅜” diagonal apart, c-t-c, and a 2” cabinet cutout would be required for speaker project duty. This is a nice find for someone with A60 Series II speakers that have a broken input terminal, failed crossover component, etc. and will have your speakers sounding their best again. They’re also ready for action in your next two-way speaker-building project using suitable drivers!
