Description: Possible Dreams Flights of Fancy Santas Alpine Glider #465051 Santa flying above an alpine mountain. Sounds like an avalanche of fun! Actually Mrs. Edna was surprised at how fun this Flights of Fancy mobile was. At first glance it was interesting. By the time she assembled it, and inserted fresh batteries to test it, Mrs. Edna was grinning ear to ear. Slow at first, but quick to pick up speed, Santa was soon spinning around in his Alpine Glider opposite a snow-covered mountain. The top of the glider is made of a semi-flexible plastic that has Christmas seasonal colors of red, white and green. Santa is attached to the wooden seat of the glider by use of small metal screws. He appears to be a solid plastic or resin hand-painted figurine. He holds a short rope in one hand which is attached to a mini red jingle bell on one end and a gold colored clapper style bell that rings on the other. Next to him is a bottle brush, flocked evergreen tree. The rear propeller is a glossy silver colored/covered plastic that resembles chrome. It spins when the battery pack is turned on. The battery compartment is well concealed, hidden within the faux leather case next to Santa. The on/off switch is located on the bottom. Foxboro, Massachusetts Made in China This item is in very good or better pre-owned vintage condition. There are no cracks, nicks, chips or repairs to the flying machine or mountain. There are a few unique imperfections from manufacturing such as extra spots of glue, and variation in the coloring, design and finish. The two large spoke wheels look a bit off kilter, sort of warped, which is how they were made. There is no damage to the metal rods or hook. The storage box is in close to good condition. It shows shelf wear and crush/crease marks in the paperboard. Please see my pictures, they are part of the description.
