Description: Unique small primitive vintage wooden rocking horse assembled from four distinct pieces of wood and painted in tan and brown with black accents for hooves, nose and eyes. Horse measures approx 22.5" x 13.5" x 3" LxHxW. Origin and maker are unknown at this time; it could possibly be a homemade heirloom. Horse is in fair vintage condition. There is a bit of a gap where the head/neck piece is attached to the torso. One of the ears has broken off. There is also considerable discoloration and wear on the tan paint, especially around the head and neck. Despite its flaws, this rocking horse has an undeniable charm and grace that has been captured in a seemingly effortless gallop. While it may originally have been intended as a kid's toy, it would also make a great decorative piece that would work well with a variety of decors, or be a nice gift for any horse enthusiast.
