Obtiene el Segundo Premio en Grabado en el Certamen del First Federal Savings Bank, en 1974; y el Primer Premio en cartel de la Fundación Puertorriqueña de las Humanidades, en 1979. En 1977 establece con Analida Burgos el Taller Otoquí, en Guaynabo. La artista fue profesora de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas en la década de los ochenta. Luego tuvo su taller en la calle Cruz, primer piso, Viejo San Juan. Su amplia producción de carteles le ha llevado a abordar numerosos temas. Entre éstos, ha llevado a cabo varios afiches para la colección que auspicia el Departamento de Desarrollo Artesanal de la Administración de Desarrollo Económico, para honrar a los artesanos.
