Description: Dollhouse miniature grotesque pottery primitive jug made in 1982 by artisan Carolyn Nygren Curran. I have never seen another of these in 1:12 scale, except for the few by Jane Graber. This jug is equally fine and has exceptional detail. It is made of saltglazed stoneware pottery and painted to give it an authentic look. The jug measures 7/8 inches tall and is in excellent, never displayed condition. This piece will stand out in your dollhouse miniature ceramics collection! This item is part of a collection recently acquired from the estate of a well-known New York miniature store owner. Her shop closed in 2015 and items have been in storage for at least 10 years. Most items are new old stock, unless otherwise noted. Any price tags seen in photos are vintage/old.
