Description: Rare Paris Porcelain plate decorated with map of North America. Inscribed Amerique Septentrionale after the 1823 map published in Atlas Geographique par Vosgien, which was based on earlier copper plates of North America by Cartographers Giles Robert de vaugondy and his son. In perfect condition with no damage or repairs. It measures 7 1/8” in diameter and dates circa 1830’s. Please view my pictures for further condition and feel free to ask me any questions.
