Features a simulated campfire, with a kettle suspended on a chain over a tripod made of logs, with underneath logs afire, etc. One of the ever-popular "French Industrial" series made by French clockmakers to celebrate the Industrial Age. This clock is attributed to Andre Romain Guilmet, the most renowned maker of this genre. Stands about 17" tall on a 9" x 6" base. The typical Guilet clock movement is 8-day, with a 2.5" face. Fully restored in Paris, France by masters of their craft, now in as-new condition.
