Description: Extremely difficult to find, especially in this condition. Tag on bottom of one foot reads “I am Kiwi. I always make friends”. The other foot has a Hygienic Toys label for Chad Valley Co., England. This is an easy item to date because this particular Chad Valley label was only used in the very early 1930’s. Kiwi measures 12” diagonally from beak to feet. The fur is in outstanding condition. Very clean and bright. The main reason this has survived so well is that it had a very fond owner many years ago. There are loving little mends by someone who obviously cared very much. There is a graft sewn on the top of the outer right toe as shown. A few small wear spots on the feet as shown.
