Description: This listing is for an extremely rare Art Nouveau pewter (Business) card tray by Wrtembergische Metalwaren Fabrik (WMF), circa 1900. Design most probably by Hans Chritiansen. The octagonal shaped tray with a circular centre features a female head with long flowing hair, smelling a flower. Unmarked - For an example See WMF Catalogue 1906, Page 169, No.190 (last 2 pictures). Overall condition is excellent for being over 100 years old. It has the scratches and light marks that one would expect of a vintage piece, but nothing that I would really call damage. I am leaving the decision of polishing it up to the buyer, as many collectors prefer original condition over restored.
