Description: This is a replica of a Roman Thraex gladiator helmet. It is made of steel and leather -- no plastic. It is fully wearable however please note if you plan on buying it for LARPing or reenacting, it is very heavy. It has been completely oiled all over to prevent rusting -- no rust whatsoever on it. It has a leather liner and a leather adjustable chinstrap. The only flaw is that the steel crest isn't bolted down all the way so if you were to run around with it on your head, the crest might shake some but all that needs to be done to fix it is just bolt it down the rest of the way -- very simple and easy fix.
