Description: For your consideration, this hard to find Reuge 72-note music box movement plays 3 key variations of Lara’s Theme from Maurice Jarre. It was written for the 1965 film Dr. Zhivago. The program presented by this movement is quite unique. It begins with the basic theme and develops into a fuller orchestration of the song embellished with arpeggios. The last movement is the concluding theme of the song. The condition of this movement is amazing for being 40 years old (the movement was created in August of 1984). It looks like it is new old stock since it is in its original fitted foam packaging. It doesn’t look like it was ever put into a music box. Comes complete with the key, mounting screws and a self adhesive Reuge tune card.
