Note the deep gouges, nicks, old cracks, and stains that all combine to build the vintage character of this console. The cut out at narrow end may have been to hold a tool (such as a vice) at one time. Refer to photos to understand this section/underside of table top.While the peg legs splay out they remain under the table top which is wider than the base.Table top depth: varies 22.5"-23"Leg depth: varies 18.25"-21"This table has been restored and waxed; it is strong, stable and ready to use and enjoy.
