Description: A beautiful vintage Enamel on Copper Sascha Brastoff Large Compote/Vase. The colors are vibrant. Background is a deep green. The vessel bottom is ceramic. The base has a felt on the bottom. Unfortunately, there is some areas of damage in the enamel. The damage is on the back area. It appears that it may have been dropped at one time. No dents but near the top rim in two area there is a narrow chip in the enamel and under the enamel some streaking lines from the area (barely noticeable in my opinion). See photos for the details. This is priced accordingly. The cooper dots near flowers and signature are intentional in the design and not from any damage. I believe it is repairable by someone who works with enameling. Measurements are approx. 7 1/4" in height, 5 3/8" diameter at top and the graduates to wider area near base. The ceramic foot is approx. 4 1/8" diameter. Items are from our family estate. I am not a jeweler or dealer. I do not clean the items as buyers typically want vintage condition or will prefer cleaning themselves. This item is quite clean.
