Description: Vintage Shadowline Bridal ready, negligee peignoir set in an ivory white with feminine lace, sequins and beading with a sheer cape shorter robe with a bust to 38 inches, best fit small to medium today. The set includes a nightgown and shorter robe to complete this peignoir set. This set is an off white. This is a two piece peignoir negligee set and is in pristine, unworn condition. These are unworn. This was worn for the photo shoot only, and comes to you in MINT condition. These were sales samples and were show to customers to see quality and workmanship before they purchased. The salesman would have brought these pieces to show the quality and style for customers like big box stores to purchase for sale in their stores. I purchased over 350 lingerie pieces that were used as inventory/samples. This is missing its tags, but has never been worn. This set was made in Morganton, North Carolina - made in the USA and I believe from the early 90s. The nightgown has a V neckline and lace detail, beading and sequin detail at bodice area. The straps are spaghetti satin fabric. The bodice is fitted and there is lace, aurora borealis sequins and beading detail at the center of the bodice. This long gown has a lovely, full A-line fit. It is fitted at bodice and then the A-line form gives this gown lots of movement and style. This has 17 inch side slits at the bottom hemline of the gown for ease of walking....and of course....to see a little leg! This has a cape like sheer shorter peignoir robe with a shawl like collar with lovely lace detail. The lace is scalloped and on the left side of the shawl collar is lovely beading, sequin and additional lace accents. The size on this says small - but these are a very generous cut and should easily fit a modern small to medium today. Please see below to see if these will fit you. If this fits at the bust, this should fit you - as the shorter sheer cape is full and free flowing and the gown has a lovely, full A-line shape with fitting thru bust and fuller waist and hip area. This has the black and white Shadowline tag inside Condition: Mint, never worn condition. These were sale samples and have not been worn. The original sales tags are missing on this set - but this was purchased in at the same time with over 350 sets and this has never been worn and is mint condition. It does not get any better than this! The lace, beading and sequin workmanship is lovely. Feminine and demure..... this set would make a lovely bridal peignoir or any time you would love the romantic, feminine look with this vintage peignoir set.
