Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL3 frameset with stem and seatpost 52 cm

Description: Specialized S-Works SL3 carbon frameset with fork, stem and seatpost. 52 cm. Rim brake-compatible only. Deda Zero 100 alloy stem, 80mm Shimano PRO Vibe 7S alloy seatpost This frame is custom, internally routed for Di2 wires and battery by Calfee Design. (Original SL3 only permitted external Di2 battery and wires) Rear derailleur hanger is intact, not bent or broken. The headset is a little crunchy, in need of a bearing service. The frame is well-used, well-loved. It shows. There are several paint chips and scratches as described below. However, structurally, it is solid. There are no cracks, breaks or defects in the carbon. The photographs show where the paint defects are. The most significant ones: - Around the drive side of the bottom bracket, where inevitable chain drops resulted in scratches. This is the worst but, again, there is no compromise to the carbon frame itself. - The throat of the fork and chainstay/down tube, from accumulation of road debris abrasion. Again, no compromise to the frame integrity.- Stem and seatpost both have scratches and discoloration.- The paint on the alloy brake cable stays on the top tube has peeled. This was top of the line when purchased and remains to this day a fantastic frame. It is exceptionally light weight, stiff and compliant. Especially with a paint job, but even without, a beautiful, high-performance bike could be built up with this frame, for a small fraction the price of a comparable new bike, especially if you appreciate the simplicity and lightness of rim brakes. Please note that I am selling a pair of very nice ENVE carbon rim brake clincher wheels, with Chris King hubs. If these are purchased too, I am happy to combine shipping.
