For example: the HD units will need to use the small support / reinforcement plate, while the larger mower units that's air cooled or liquid cooled (but without square tube bumper) will use the larger support plate. But on the other hand, units with square tube bumper will need to drill a couple of mounting holes on the bumper and use the "smaller" reinforcement plate. Installation is quite straightforward with all the provided hardware.
