Description: Vintage 1970s TANG Instant Breakfast Drink Glass Pitcher with ephemera Magazine Ad and expired Coupon! What a great collectible lot! Pitcher is made by Anchor Hocking and appears to have never been used NOS. Original label is banded around the pitcher and flip top lid with handle still has original paper and foil seal inside. Label promotion states “free pitcher when you purchase the 27 oz of Tang packed inside.” Top of glass pitcher is decorated with five orange retro atomic starbursts. Double sided coupon expired Dec 30 1972 and was worth 7 cents. Magazine ad features a background of a space station orbiting the earth. Tang was advertised as a nutritious orange flavored drink “for spacemen and earth families.” Reverse side of magazine ad was for Glad Oven Bags. Bottom of pitcher appears to have several straw marks or manufacturing flaws in the glass. The marks can be felt on the outside but not on the inside. Label has normal shelf wear due to age. Tip of the plastic flip lid is rough and scuffed. Please inspect all photos for condition. Lot is being sold as is.
