Description: This album is the awkward US version of the British release which was a shorter EP, a popular format in the UK at the time and completely off our radar here in the US. The EP is a smaller record, 10". I imagine that is why this album was skipped when the Giles Martin remix train got going. He did Sgt Pepper, skipped Magical Mystery Tour and moved to the White Album and onward. The look back projects he's doing now skipped it too. He started at Revolver and is going backward in time. Don't get me wrong. This is a solid edition done with what was deemed a "soft touch" remaster which cleaned up bits and pieces of noise etc. The vinyl is high quality and the stamps they use to press the records are certainly new, not worn out by millions of impressions like the ones from the "good old days" of the 60s and 70s. I love this album, buy it compulsively and hence, here is a copy you can buy for less than a new one would cost. The shrink is intact with promo sticker. The booklet, which they wisely no longer staple into the cover like they did in the old days, is included. I will ship this in a new high quality poly sleeve to protect the package in shipping and on your shelf.
