Description: THE BROTHERHOOD #s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. 9 issues total. Complete series/story. 2001 series. "The dark side of the mutant war gets their own ongoing series! A MESSAGE FROM THE FRONTLINES: "Perhaps you think you know us. That costumed charlatans such as Magneto and his ilk are representative of our people. You are wrong. We are your neighbors. Your co-workers. The homeless you callously step over on your way to your safe, meaningless jobs. We will not announce ourselves with bright red uniforms or gloating public pronouncements. We will simply strike. When you see your streets run scarlet with blood, and your cities aflame, you will know your time is at an end. "You have taken our homes from us. Our families. Our future. You despoil the world we were meant to inherit, plundering the resources that rightfully belong to our children. No more... from this day forward, The Brotherhood declares open war on humanity. Its end will not come until the power to govern rests in our hands. Or until you are, once and for all, extinct."" Marvel takes some chances sometimes, and I thought this idea was so out-there (read: non-mainstream) that it might be something interesting. I didn't know it was actually by one of my least-favorite writers, but should have known that when Marvel has a bad idea it's probably as bad as anyone would guess. I heard this was awful (predictably) and put off reading it, then just never did. But maybe you'll get something out of it, and it's complete. Of course I'm capitalizing on Wolverine being in the new movie and hoping that his popularity will spill out to all the X-Men comics. There's an article about it and the writer: https://www.cbr.com/https://www.cbr.com/x-men-marvel-brotherhood-writer-x/ If you need better pictures, let me know what detail you want to see and I’ll take a better one. I will combine orders! Win more than one lot and I’ll put them together and it’s less to ship and less for you to pay. Once all your auctions are done and you’re done bidding (and if it doesn't offer this automatically) I'll send you an invoice that will have the revised shipping. (It may take me a couple days if I’m not working on eBay listings when they close, but you can also send me a message to say that you’re done bidding and ready for them to be shipped.) Buy more to save more! I don’t mind waiting for payment if you’re buying more than one lot. I’m open to whatever form of shipping you want, and I can adjust the price by sending you an invoice. (I’ll send them via Media Mail if you don’t say otherwise, and by default I will send all orders to the same address if they can be combined.) I don’t have a business. I’m doing this to get rid of stuff I’ve had in storage for a while. It’s a lot of great stuff from my personal collection that I’ve loved over the years but it’s also a lot of stuff and it’s time. Usually I sell comics on here (a lot of from the late ‘80s to the early ‘00s). I'm just about finished with Dark Horse, Image, indies, Vertigo, mainstream DC, non-superhero Marvels, now it’s mainstream Marvels (next: Avengers & Avengers-related, including Black Panther, then later, Spider-Mans, Captain Americas, and lots of Daredevils) after that. I’m a reader so the runs I offer might be inconsistent by book, with single issues often replaced by a trade or collection, but it’s likely a full run to serve reading. Lately I've been packaging orders on Friday and sending them on Saturday. So if you pay over the weekend (after Friday evening), it might not get out until the next week. But if there's some urgency and you need it right away, let me know and I can probably manage it. (Again, this is a side-hustle so I'm not always able to give it my full attention but I’ll do what I can.) I’ll consider best offers, especially if you want to buy more than one lot. If the formatting of the text in this box looks sloppy, it happened after I posted it. When I wrote this it all looked fine and consistent but eBay mangles it with HTML after. Hopefully you don't pay attention to these things (though thanks if you read this far), but I do and this is ghastly to me but I have too many of these to post to go over (and it shouldn't have changed in the first place). Let me know how you're liking the issues! Keep in touch!marlanharris dot com
