Appointed to be Read in Churches." Published by George E. Eyre and William Spottiswoode, London, 1864. This is a large Bible that bound in full, blindstamped leather. Book shows wear and front cover has partially separated from the book. Rear gutter is worn, but not yet cracked. Shows some scuffing edges and corners. The book is clean, but there does appear to be 3 pages of a journal/history of former owner and family which appears in three pages at the very beginning of the book. INTERNALLY, THIS BOOK IS FAIRLY SOUND--CLEAN, TIGHT, INTACT--COMPLETE. THIS WILL BE A WONDERFUL BIBLE IF IT RECEIVES A LITTLE PROFESSIONAL ATTENTION AND REPAIR. These Bibles are QUITE SCARCE.
