I know this doesn't sound like much however you cannot break this thread without cutting your hands. When sewn into a seam you will get 300 lbs. on a side pull. When you add a back-tack or bar-tack the side pull strength will triple or more. This thread is amazingly strong and abrasive resistant. You will see it used when strength is a must.
