Description: Unique Antique Vintage Silver Metal Wrapped Wood Decorative Chair - made in India. Beautiful silver metal wrapped detailed small chair measures 31 1/2" tall, 19 1/4" wide and 18 1/2" deep and weighs about 15 pounds and was hand made in India. Decorative silver colored metal wrapping has floral and scroll motifs and is attached to the wood frame with small nails - see photos. Bottom of seat is black painted wood, with cream cotton fabric nailed on as cover - there are some spots on this fabric - see photo. As with any hand made item - there are many little areas that are unique, angles of the nails, wrapping technique, etc. If you require additional photos of specific areas, just let me know. One of the front legs has some stain on the metal sheathing - probably from glue or other items used during the construction. Metal sheathing also covers the bottom of all 4 chair legs. Cream color cotton padded seat - chair has never been used. I purchased this item about 20 years ago anticipating I would recover the seat with a crewel embroidered fabric, but never got around to it. Smoke/Pet free home. FREE local pickup ONLY.
