Description: US M1 Helmet with Solid OD Cover and Lt. Rank.These covers were used by Marines and US Army in late 50"s, early 60's.This is a rear seam helmet in excellent condition. Comes with cat's eye helmet band.There are no markings on this cover. Most were manufactured in the late fifties.You do see pics of this cover being used in early years of the Vietnam war.Liner is a pre-Vietnam made liner. A nice addition to a M-1 Helmet collection.
