There are great tidbits of information (some I had to google because I didn't even know those facts and I was curious myself) and the illustrations are so fun! My kids LOVE lifting the flaps to see what's hiding behind them - it really helps them to become hands on with the book AND the flaps are super durable. They still look like new, and we've had it for months and read it daily. Excellent book about a topic that all preschoolers inherently love. He insists on reading it every time he hops on the potty and explains to me about each animal that poops! Awesome to keep him distracted while getting done with his business!
