Description: This is a pair of vintage post earrings from Navajo artisan Ben Boyd signed Sterling BB. There are quite a few Native American BB signatures but this signature looked most like Ben Boyd to me , but I could be wrong. They are beautifully inlaid with orange spiny oyster. They drop from the ear lobe 1 7/8 inches and are 5/8 inch wide at the widest point. The inlay work and stamp work along the edges are well done. They have posts with butterfly backs for pierced ears. Overall, the vintage condition is excellent. FYI Spiny oyster is a type of mollusk shell and is associated with a healing energy which imparts feelings of peace and contentment.
