Description: UP FOR SALE VINTAGE 1940-1964 CASE XX USA 5165SAB STAG FOLDING HUNTER BOWIE KNIFE ANTIQUE -NO SHEATH THIS ITEM IS IN DECENT CONDITION AS PICTURED. CLOSED: 5-1/4 inches OPENED: 8-7/8 inches This vintage knife is in decent condition as pictured. The tang stamps have "CASE XX" and "5165SAB".The blade measures 3-5/8 inches but I saw other listings that say that the open measurements is more than 9 inches and this one is 8-7/8 inches long opened. I believe this blade is a little bit short and I noticed that the stag handle is lifting a bit on two corners near the end as pictured and it seems like it is wearing out and there is a tiny crack on one side of the stag as pictured, it has oxidation on both sides of the blade but the right side has two big spots of rust as pictured. The blade has some rust and pitting on both sides. The edge of the blade is pretty straight and smooth and it does not wobble. NO SHEATH.
