Vintage 1950's Sweet Orr Union Made Carpenter pants NWT/NOS Men's 29"x32"

Description: Vintage 1950's Sweet Orr Union Made Carpenter pants NWT/NOS Men's 29"x32". Very early carpenter pants with hammer loop. White threads, single stitching. 50/50 Poly/cotton blend. Polyester first made its appearance in 1951. In 1951 Polyester was first introduced to the public as a miracle fabric. Thank you Google. The zipper on these pants is from the Talon Zipper Company. See picture #16. Shortly after 1960, the company was purchased by Textron, Inc. Once again thank you Google. By reason of deduction I am fairly confidant that these un-used with tag carpenter jeans from the 1950's There is a possibility that they could be as late as the 1960's if the Sweet Orr company was using old zipper stock. They do say they are from Lot # 14. There is also a 724 marked on the tag. I am not aware of what these marking notate. Taylor/seamstress markings can be seen on the inside of the right leg. There is also a small mark of the same color on the left lower tool pocket. See picture #7. It is my feeling that it was made with a fabric crayon and would wash off, I can not guarantee this as I can not wash these. This is a very unique pair of jeans that will not easily be found again in this condition. I measured the inseam and it looks to be a bit closer to 31" to me but I am not a professional tailor. The 29" waist looks to be on spot. Cuffs are 10" or 20" around. I have included pictures with measurements. Please inspect them and buy with confidence.
