Description: Vintage 1954-1959 Franciscan Atomic Starburst Divided Bowl & Lid Color Safe MCM I am offering a very nice, vintage midcentury modern Franciscan Gladding McBean Oven Safe divided bowl and lid. It is a beautiful piece from the Franciscan Atomic Starburst / Eclipse shape line. It is creamy white with tiny, dark speckles all over each piece.The outside of the bowl just has the speckles, and the inside has the iconic yellow, blue and green dots covered with stylized starburst patterns. The lid has the same iconic starbursts. The bowl measures 8 1/4” x 8 1/4” x 2 1/2” at the “handles.” It is 3 1/2” tall with the lid on. The lid features indentations on the top which serve as lid handles.The underside of the lid has small indentations on the sides where they fit on the divided bowl. The bowl also has indentations on the sides which serve as handles. The underside of the bowl is printed in blue with C FRANCISCAN R OVEN - SAFE Made in California U.S.A.
