Description: This lot includes three small cloth patches. I believe that these were intended to be adhered to a child's swim suit. All three patches have the same logo, and read: "PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT - CITY OF LUBBOCK." At the bottom of the blue patch, it is marked: "BEGINNER." The red one is marked: "INTERMEDIATE SWIMMER" and the green one simply reads: "SWIMMER." The printing on the BLUE patch is just a bit blurry. The background on the RED one has yellowed. I could not find out anything about these, and I'm not sure WHEN there were made. I would "GUESS" that these are from the 1960's - give or take. Each measures about 2 & 1/4 inches long, by 2 to 2 & 1/2 inches wide. I don't think these were ever actually used. They are guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
