Description: Vintage 1970's Used Sears Electronic Basketball Handheld Battery Operated Game WORKS--READ FULL DESCRIPTION for details and issues This is one of my personal childhood games from the 1970's. The game is in Good Used condition with wear, blemishes, aging, and imperfections. Some of the front black decal has rubbed off and the top "Visitor" sticker is peeling on right side--SEE Photos # 5 and #6. The sticker on the back battery cover with the instructions has yellowed/discolored SEE Photo #16. The plastic has general wear, scuffs, faint scratch, aging, imperfections etc. The battery compartment is clean. The game lights up, makes sound, shoots baskets and all buttons work to make the player move position, but they may "stick" every now and then if don't press button hard enough. When you switch it to "2" the game speeds up, position "1" is regular speed. In Video I played on position "2". The only ISSUE I noticed is I am NOT certain if it is keeping score correctly. There is a score, but I just don't know if it's correct or how the score is tracked. So there is NO Guarantee the scoring mechanism is accurate or if the game is fully functional. Please SEE photos and video for the most accurate description of condition and make your own judgement. I could only play with one finger because I had to record the video with the other hand. Besides the scoring,everything else appears to work as it should and it's still fun and playable, but NO Guarantee as the game is over 45 years old and I am NOT an expert on vintage electronic games.
