Description: This is the original fork from a 1996 Gary Fisher Montare, worked well on the bike and doesn't have any serious issues that I know of. It seems to rebound fine, although the stanchions are a little greasy and it may need new seals some time in the near future. Doesn't seem to be close to failure but showing signs of wear. The steerer is the standard 1-1/8" threadless type, and is a little over 7.75" long. Cosmetically, it has some scratches and nicked decals, but overall looks good for a fork from 1996 Feel free to ask any additional questions via message
