Description: This is a vintage Central Asian Turkmen pendant headdress. I’m not sure the materials it’s made from but I’m guessing some kind of mixed metal with plastic insets. I don’t remember where I found this piece but it was on display for several years hanging on my wall. It has a hook at the top for a chain or strap to hold it over the head and two chains on the sides with hooks for attaching something to hold it on the head. Would be great for belly dancing. The piece measures 15” across from hook to hook and 24” from the very top to the bottom and the side pendants measure 17” long. Without a scale I guess it weighs about 2 -3 pounds. Any questions?
