This is one of the last remaining remnants of this furrier women's clothing brand. Made of real mink, it features a soft beige inner lining and the monogram MJR on the right inner flap. Sol Marcus established Marcus Furriers in 1907 on Pleasant Street, Worcester. The official name, Sol & S. Marcus Co. was adopted in 1929 when Sol partnered with his brother Samuel Marcus, and expanded the store to include women's apparel as well as firs. The store closed in 1989 after three generations of ownership by the Marcus family. 9/10 condition. The fur is in surprisingly great shape with very minor wear and has been well-preserved. One Size.
