Description: For sale is one used and incomplete Hasbro Pop-Up Rub-Ons #2961 cardboard fold-out play-set for the Lone Ranger. This was produced, according to online references, in 1968 or soon after. I received this as a child and am responsible for rubbing the transfers onto the playset, and playing with it enough to rub some of them off. This entire set folds flat in four sections, with each section folding up to be a quarter of the play-set. There is no fourth "floor" section (and may not have come with one), and one of that section's "walls" is loose. To put the whole thing together, you need about eight paper clips. All sections are in very good structural condition, and are still able to be folded without damage. This set came with color "transfer" parts on wax paper, and you would match those transfers to the numbered blanks on the play-set, then use a wooden stick or spoon to "press" the pictures on to fill the blanks. Most are still there, but many have been scraped off a bit, like on the four character pieces. There may have been more character pieces, but I only have one Lone Ranger, one Tonto, one sheriff, and one bad guy. Please study the photos for more information on the condition of the whole set. Note: Just for clarity regarding the identity of this item, I included in the photos a pic I found online of the original cover of this set. I do not have it and it is not included with this item. I will post this to you via USPS Ground Advantage to the continental US only. Please ask questions prior to purchase. Thanks for looking.
