Description: Vintage, but new in box, Burlington picnic basket. This item appears to have been given as a gift, probably a wedding gift based on remnants of wrapping paper on the box, then stored for more than a half a century and never used. Packing materials are still inside the basket and the original factory wrap is still on the handles The picnic basket comes with 6 cups, six partitioned plates (all yellow), spoons and forks. There is still tape on the forks. The tape from the spoons is present , but age made it brittle, so it has popped off. There is a small tear in the cardboard liner on the inside that appears to have been caused by the packing materials inside getting jammed. No other damage, and otherwise in factory-new condition Measures 12 1/4” wide at handles x 19 1/2” long. This is a rare find! I will ship it including the original box inside another shipping box.
