Description: For sale is a James Avery coca-cola bottle charm. I believe this design was made in the early to mid 1980s. I’m not sure if it was ever officially released as a design. The Coca-Cola bottle was first produced as a camp charm. This bottle is only marked STER. If you’re familiar with James Avery marks, you’ll know that some James Avery pieces will be marked AVERY STER or the candelabra and STER. Apparently, with some camp charms, including this design, you’ll see a mark variant with the full markings or just STER. This is supposed to be normal for charms like this as well as the Dr Pepper bottle. I spoke to several collectors of vintage and retired James Avery and confirmed this. This charm appears identical to the fully marked version and came off of a bracelet that was loaded with retired and vintage James Avery charms. This charm has some very tiny necks and wear from use, but looks fine overall. It would be a great addition to your collection!
