Description: This is a pair of "twin" wooden hand painted Asian dolls that appear to be Korean. They are wearing identical colorful garments and bright red and black upright floral head scarves. And, pretty woven aprons and silver tin hoop earrings. Lots of silver trim! The dolls are unfinished light wood, shaped like Japanese Kokeshi dolls. The features look hand painted. One has a slightly smaller base than the other. They measure 1 5/8" and 1 3/4" across the bottoms. There are numbers hand printed on the bottoms that read 99 and 199. The backs are not covered, just plain wood beneath the scarves. One has a few scuffs on the wooden back, as pictured in my last photo. There are no cracks, loose clothing or missing trim.
