Description: VINTAGE Russian (USSR) Khokhloma Hand Painted Lacquer Wooden Bowl - 6.75" This is a BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE Russian lacquerware Khokhloma bowl from the USSR. The bowl was hand painted with images of flowers, leaves, and strawberries. There is a small image of red currants inside the bowl. It is painted with the classic gold, white, and red of the Khokhloma sets. This bowl is well made of light wood and then lacquered and hand painted. It is about 6.75 inches in diameter and 3.75 inches tall. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! There are no cracks, repairs, or discoloration. There are a couple of tiny chips to the lacquer around the rim, but they are few and very small.
