Would make a lovely gift or great for any vintage costume jewelry collection. ABOUT BOGOFF JEWELRY Bogoff jewelry was designed by Henry Bogoff, who emigrated from Warsaw, Poland in 1908. He founded Spear Novelty Company in Chicago, Illinois, in the late 1920s with his wife Yvette. He started Jewels by Bogoff in 1940 and became one of the country's leading designers and manufacturers of costume jewelry. He had an exceptional memory and could translate diamond and precious stone designs into his own rhinestone creations. His jewelry was made in limited quantities, with high quality Swarovski rhinestones, molded glass stones, faux pearls, and rhodium or gold plating. He sold his jewelry at affluent stores and designed for other companies. He guaranteed his jewelry for life. He died in 1958 and production ended sometime after 1970.
